Privacy Policy

Threaded Pear LLC ("we") operates Pear Inventory. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information

Name, email address, password hash, organization name, role, and other details you provide when creating or managing your account.

Billing information

Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We store a customer reference, subscription status, and billing email — we do not store your full card number.

Customer Data you upload or sync

Inventory records, products, suppliers, sales and purchase orders, customers, shipping addresses, warehouse locations, stock adjustments, and related operational data — either entered directly or pulled in from systems you connect (e.g., Shopify, ShipStation, Finale, Dear-Lover).

Usage and device data

Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, actions taken in the app, and timestamps. Used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

2. How we use information

• To provide and operate the service, including syncing data with the integrations you enable.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
• To monitor and improve performance, security, and reliability.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell personal information.

3. Sharing and subprocessors

We share data only with service providers that help us operate Pear Inventory. A current list is on our Subprocessors page. We also share data with third-party integrations you explicitly connect, in order to perform the sync you configured.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies and local-storage entries needed to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate the app. See our Cookie Notice for details.

5. Data retention

We retain Customer Data while your account is active. After cancellation, data is kept for a reasonable period to allow account reactivation, then deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest with our hosting provider, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email legal@pearinventory.com. Account admins can manage most of this data directly in the app.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States. By using Pear Inventory, you understand that your data may be processed in the United States and in any country where our subprocessors operate.

9. Children

Pear Inventory is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
